APP Wholesale Ltd has announced the appointment of Matthew Webber as its first Chief Operating Officer, effective 2nd September 2025. Matthew will also sit on the Operating Board of APP’s parent company Lords Group Trading Plc.
Matthew brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the HVAC sector. His extensive background spans both supplier/manufacturer roles and merchant businesses, with a strong emphasis on the plumbing and heating industry. In his role as COO, Matthew will have full P&L responsibility for all five Plumbing & Heating Businesses: APP Wholesale, Ultimate Renewables, HRP Trade, Direct Heating, and Mr Central Heating.
Matthew’s leadership experience and industry insight will be instrumental in shaping the next phase of growth for APP Wholesale Ltd.
The appointment follows the promotion of Neil Lake to the newly created role of Group Business Development Director of Lords Group Trading Plc where he will continue to sit on the Operating Board. Neil has played a key role in leading APP Wholesale Ltd since joining through the acquisition of HRP Trade and Direct Heating and will continue to maintain significant influence within the P&H division, alongside Matthew in his new role.
